You’re Almost Done – Activate Your Subscription!

You’ve just been sent an email that contains a confirm link.

In order to activate your subscription, check your email and click on the link in that email. You will not receive your subscription until you click that link to activate it.

Quickly read this before you confirm to make sure you get all the updates.

Gmail recently rolled out a new category system — and they label all emails from people like me (and if you send email, people like you) as “Promotions.”

This is bad news for you (and me).

This is what you need to do in order not to miss any updates.

To be sure you don’t miss any Backpacker Tales, go to this new Promotions tab, and drag an email from me into your “Primary” inbox.

After you do that, you’ll get an alert that asks you if you want to do this for future emails. Click “Yes!” Boom! That is all there is to it!

If you don’t see that email in your inbox shortly, fill out the form again to have another copy of it sent to you. You can also email me and I will make sure you get added.

While you wait, I want to share a post with you. As you probably know travel changes you, but did you know saving for a trip can be almost as rewarding? It’s true, see How 2 Years of Saving for Travel Changed Me. (Spoiler alert, it’s for the better)
