Life is Short Quotes

Robin S. Sharma’s a Canadian writer. Best known for his book The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari and Megaliving. He knows a little about accomplishing dreams. He practiced law and went through the complicated process of self-publishing.

What I love about this quote is that it has no room for B.S. Life is short

If you don’t act today, then you will never move. Today’s the day to do big things! This is something I tell myself every morning!

Some life is short quotes are funny. This is one of them.

It’s a good reminder to enjoy the small things in life, roll with the punches, and when life doesn’t go your way to brush it off.

This saying always reminds me not to sweat the small stuff. Instead, focus on conquering the big things in life.

I love this quote! It sums up so much in just a few words.

Cultural icons and superstars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Robbins say things like this all the time!

Impossible isn’t a fact; it’s an opinion. So go after your dream, no matter how big, no matter the odds.

Because if you can dream it, you can do it! Don’t confine yourself to the limits of other men.

Marcus Aurelius has some of my favorite quotes on life. Aurelius was a Roman emperor, warrior, and stoic philosopher. He gives us some of the top stoicism quotes.. He considered the last good emperors Rome ever had, and there are some great Marcus Aurelius’ quotes

He was incredibly wise, and his philosophies are still wildly read and popular thousands of years after this death. He was an amazing man and worth reading about.

This quote speaks to your mindset. The wise man goes after the solutions to their problems. Always push for more – to be better, and do more. The fool sees their current situation as a solution and lives in contentment.

There are more Marcus Aurelius quotes about life below! And speaking of Rome check out my 3 day Rome itinerary

By far, the most powerful quote from Lawrence of Arabia. And one of my favorite quotes of all time.

It always makes me ponder which person I am. I strive, which every part of me, to dream in the day, and make those dreams a reality. And put in all the work that required to live them.

How do you dream? Are your most vivid dreams the ones you have while you’re asleep. Are you one of the β€œdangerous man” or do you settle for ordinary dreams?

A quote by Eminem reminds us that life is short and can change in a moment. We don’t know what will happen tomorrow. There’s no way to know the troubles and trials next week has in store for us. This moment, minutes, hour, and day it’s all we have.

This always inspires me to get the most out of my day I can. How I’m treating others. And it forces me to asses how much work and effort that I am putting into my dreams and goals. What trail am I blazing and the legacy I’m leaving.

If tomorrow wasn’t promised, how would you spend today!

I believe this is how people should live. I often go on adventures many people think are crazy, borderline stupid.  But I don’t listen to their criticism.
I’ve wandered into the Alaska Wilderness for two weeks and came face to face with a grizzly bear. Ran with the Bulls in Spain (Which is one of the facts about Spain most people know). Drove 1/3 of the planet without a clutch in my car. Scuba dived with Sharks, skydived in New Zealand, and bungee jumped multiple times. And countless other adventures.

Remember it’s your life. And if your dreams lead you into some risky situations, it’s ok.

Because it’s your choice. You can’t live by anyone’s rules but your own.

At the end of the day, I would rather take a risk that was in line with my dreams; even if it took my life. Rather than grow old under the shelter of safety and be untrue to who I am.

A great quote to remind us to live in the present. As much as I preach chasing your dreams. Remember, the most important moment isn’t the moment you achieve. It’s the moments that make up the journey getting to that point.

This moment’s the most important moment of your life. Because life is happening, now!

Hey, nothing comes easy. Mistakes happen. But remember life is too short don’t waste it!

Relish them.

Appreciate them for the lessons they taught you. Then pick yourself up and fail again. Change your approach and fail again.

Mistakes are a fantastic way to grow as a person. I love my mistakes.

It shows me I am trying. I am doing something meaningful.

And the harder I fall, the higher I bounce back up.

The person who makes no mistakes is living the safest life possible.

Tough days happen! Life isn’t always easy. Most of the time, life is hard. That’s where this life is too short quote comes into play. Everyone has hard times, everyone struggles, and everyone loses. These are the day to happen to everyone.

And once you realize these days will pass, you can use them to strengthen yourself. This day doesn’t define the rest of your life. What does define the rest of your life is how you react when hard times come.

The Peanuts creator was a wise man! You can learn more about him if you visit northern California. His museum is one of the best things to do in Santa Rosa

Another favorite saying of mine. And a core belief in my life. If you think you’re stuck in your current position and station in life, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

On the other hand, if you believe you can become more than what you are at this moment. And consistently act on that belief, it will happen.

Your actions control where you end up in life. And self-beliefs influence your actions.

We all fall. We all hit rock bottom. But it is what you do after you fall that determines your life. The harder you fall, the higher you can bounce back up.

These are the moment that shows if you will give life total control. Or fight back and take control of your life.

True! Grasp onto the things that make you happy and disregard the things that don’t.

That’s not the say that sometimes the things that make you happy will be on the other side of suffering. Such as committing yourself to the gym to get that beach body, or waking up early to read and work on your craft. Which you know will lead to your dream life.

Sometimes happiness means taking the hard road because you know what’s at the end.

This quote always reminds me not to try to imitate someone else. Look at what the best of the best are doing. Try to improve on it.

But always stay true to who you are. Your values. Your personal power. Your dreams. Because no one else in the world is like you.

Show the world who you are! And add your own spin to greatness.

What a great quote by the author, Jan Glidewell! It reminds us how easy it is to get so caught up in the past; we miss the present. I think we have all been guilty of holding onto the past at some point.

It’s important to remember the lessons of the past. But holding onto the past is dangerous.

Our time’s valuable and limited, and we should strive to live in the present and take advantage of the opportunities life has placed in front of us.

What a truth bomb! Many of us think about our goal. We spend so much time daydreaming about them; we expect them to happen magically. Let me let you in on a secret. Achieving goals takes action.

Chase a dream, even if unsure if you want it. You can make that decision whether you want it or not after you achieve your goal. And even if you discover you don’t want your dream. The lessons you learn along the way are invaluable.

I’ve acted on my goals. And because I did, I have traveled to over 70 countries (and lived in four of them). I’ve spent eight years traveling the world. And I’ve built an online business that not only gives me the freedom to live my dream. But lets me help others discover the beauty of travel.

Life is too short not to take action towards your goals.

I’m a self-help junkie. Which makes me a huge Les Brown fan. He is a legendary motivational speaker with a tragic story. The hardships he has overcome and the level that he reached in life is almost unbelievable. So when he talks about what’s on the other side of hardship, I scoot to the edge of my seat.

Hardship happens to all of us. And life is too short to roll over. We have to take it head-on and push through the pain barriers. Because inside you have more power than you know. And eventually, you will conquer it.

Over 2,000 years old and still popular, makes this one of the most famous quotes of all time. The greek philosopher Socrates needs no introduction. His philosophies have shaped the world even until today.

We should be looking at our life often. Examining what works, and what doesn’t β€” looking for new ways of approaching things, bettering ourselves, and going to the next level.

True! Without belief, you will only achieve a fraction of what you are capable of in life. Self-belief is the key to fulfill your dreams. No matter what your friends, colleagues, peers, or even family say. Tune out all the noise and give yourself entirely your goal.

>A good quote, like our quotes by Epictetus! And one that got me started on mindfulness and meditation, which has become a cornerstone of my life. It helps me stay focused on the moment. Visualize my future. And control my emotions.

Does all that sound too out there for you? Then check out some of the science behind it and how meditation reprograms the brain. Want to try it out then check out headspace if you want to learn more. They offer a free course that will introduce you to the practice.

Life is short! But progress doesn’t happen right away. Preserve.

It takes time to improve and see results of your work.  The climb might be steep, but the view from the top of the mountain is worth it.

Discipline, another cornerstone of being successful and getting the most out of this short life.  Program your life to reflect your ideals and dreams. Wake up early, do the hard thing, find a regiment that you stick new religiously.

One reason I loved travel when I was younger was that there was no routine. Every day was new and full of randomness. I couldn’t get enough of backpacking Italy or anywhere else in the world.  And even though I still love the randomness of travel, I am deeply committed to my routine. Because routine and discipline are the keys to success.

The bigger your goals, the harder you need to work.

This quote helps you adjust your mindset. When you change how you view the problem you alter your approach and it gives you the will to attack it. Most problems seem a lot smaller once you use problems as a springboard to growth.

People say you are what you eat. But the truth is you are, what you think. Your actions reflect what you think about yourself. If you don’t like your story. Change it.

Always think positively of yourself. Encourage yourself, you’re the greatest. If you don’t approach whatever you’re trying to accomplish in life with that mindset. Then you’ve already lost.

Life is too Short quotes

ore Les Brown! And another awesome quote about how life is short. What this is saying that embrace the failures. Your previous failures have made you who you are today. See the light in the darkness. Even if it’s only a tiny light. And hang on to it.

The trials of the past hold the key to growing in the future. Study the past. See what worked, and with didn’t work.  Learn for your failures and keep changing your approach,  learning, and trying your best.

The road you’re walking on. At some point, you chose to walk it. If you don’t like it, then walk another one. Or better go into uncharted territory and pave another one!

Once we learn that, at some point in time, we chose to be where we are in life, the whole game changes.

I believe that life is too short not to choose to live your best life and to go after your goals with your whole heart.

I think a lot of us don’t reach our true potential in life is because of our mindset. We want to do one thing and expect everything in our life to change instantly.

We find success in life in the grind, in taking one baby step after another.

Success is a small set of tasks you’re committed to doing every day. It’s making a choice to drive to the gym instead of watch tv. Choosing to wake up early instead of hitting the snooze button. It’s choosing to eat the right foods over, reading or anything else you know would help you.

Success means committing yourself to the baby steps and never compromising that commitment.

I love this life is short quote because it reminds us to live in the moment. Who knows what crazy road bumps life will throw at you? Everything can fall apart in an instant. So we have to enjoy the moments we have now.

Because we have no idea what challenges life has for us in the next hour, day, or week. Enjoy the moment!

Another great life is too short quote that reminds us to live in the moment. Don’t let the bad things get to you. Smile and be grateful for your trials. They made you who you are today.

Don’t cry over your losses. Instead, find the silver lining. Strive to find your best self in the struggles. And always move forward with a smile; even if it’s forced and fake.

A simple quote, but a powerful one. And one that gives me chills. And if you are asking yourself if you are a lion or a sheep….then, you’re a sheep.

Go after your lifework with passion and determination. If you fail, you fail.

But at least you choose to attack life like a lion instead of allowing yourself to be herded along with the sheep.

This life is too short quote is like the lion and sheep one.
I feel like so many people bottle up their dreams because they are afraid to fail.

I’ve got news for you. You will fail. You’ll fail a lot.

But once you give yourself permission to fail. And soon you learn how to pick yourself up from your failures and keep moving forward.

It’s ok to mess up. You can try again. I would rather say “I messed up” ten thousands time than say ” I wish I did that” when I am older.

Once this happens, you become a force to reckon with, and nothing can stop you.

A life is short quote I take seriously as I travel the world.

Whether I am wandering an airport, sitting in a tiny village, or spending endless hours on a train, I am trying to embrace the moment, and get the most out of life that I can.

How awesome is this quote by George M. Adams?

Time goes on and on. It’s not ours to waste.

We are always doing something.

Whether it’s something that builds up or breaks us down is up to us. It is impossible to waste time because we do not control time. But we can squander our potential.

If you made it this far then, you probably noticed the pattern of overcoming challenges. This is a core value of my life and one I cling to religiously.
Are there impossible things to do in life. Sure. But the problem is that most of us give up once we hit the first obstacle.

But as David Goggins says “before you say it is impossible; do it, do it, and do it to the level where people think you’re crazy.”

Facing our impossible challenges and overcoming them. Help you grow, and become some of the most meaningful moments of your life.

This might not be true for you. But for me, no truer words were ever spoken. I feel most alive on the road.

Exploring new cultures, places, and wilderness brings out the best in me. Pushing my limits, challenging and pushing myself forces me to grow.

Travel is awesome! And one of the quickest ways to achieve for self-growth.

A great quote about knowing yourself: once you know who you are and what you are about. Then the small things can’t upset you.

This is the key to life. And since we are always changing this process of learning about yourself never stops.

Until you learn the core of yourself and what makes you tick, you’ll live half a life.

Life is short, and I use this quote to remind me of that fact. Whenever I fill the urge to take the easy road or feel the tug to breakdown for a moment, I tell myself, β€œThat’s not how legends are made!”

One of the most powerful days in my life was the day I realized that the only thing that separates me from the best in my field is… nothing.

If I dream big enough and put in the work, nothing can stop me.

Simple and powerful. I love this saying. What is says to me is that life is a chance to get better. To learn how to make an impact on others and be the best version of yourself possible.

Each day is to a new chance to grow and expand your soul.

One key to success is waking up early! I sleep less and wake up earlier than anyone else I know. I will not share what time I wake up or how many hours I sleep. Let’s just say most people haven’t made it home from the bar before I am already up working.

And no, it’s not easy. It’s a daily struggle. And even when I can’t get into my morning groove, I still go through my routine.

I never give in to the temptation of staying in bed.

Why?

Because I have big dreams, I want to impact people. I want to change my life and the lives of others. And that requires the work of becoming a disciplined human being. And when you are up early, it’s a lot easier to do the hard things. When no one else is on the road, there’s no traffic, and nothing to distract you from your work.

And don’t just take my word for it. Find the people in your chosen field who are killing it; the best of the best.  Research them. I can almost guarantee that they are sleeping less and waking up earlier everyone else.

When you have the discipline to do the things you don’t want to do, then you earn the right to have the things you really want.

A funny life is a short quote. But a true one. You’re only as old as you act. And the more you love life and appreciate the little things, the more fun you’ll have.

Don’t take a moment for granted. We might only be here for a little while. But life is short and let’s enjoy the journey.

Another life is a short quote about not sweating the small stuff. We have to take advantage and treat every moment as a gift. Let’s never overlook that the little things and problems are forgettable. But if we let them, they can have a huge negative impact on our lives.

Paulo Coelho wrote one of the best parables about travel and finding yourself. The Alchemist is one of my favorite books and worth checking out.

What he is saying here is that many people use money as an excuse not to travel. When they are afraid to face their fears.

This quote about having a good life is so true. A good life is something you build by taking step after step. It is not a single change. It is a process, a mindset, and chasing after your goal.

The first step to changing your life is your mindset. Nothing will be different until you think differently. Master your mind, then even thing else will start falling into place.

We only live once! We can’t afford to allow ourselves not to live it. Fight for the life you want. No matter what anyone says. No matter how impossible. Don’t worry about the odds. Worry about what will happen if you don’t chase that dream.

Learn who you are. Learn what you love. Discover yourself and your dreams. Go deep! Mindfulness, visualization, and reflection are an excellent tool for learning more about yourself and where you want to go.

There is no excuse for being bored. There is always something to do, learn, or achieve. Life is too short to say I’m bored.

Don’t waste the day! It’s really wasting life. And we all know that life is too short for that!

Strive to live a full and profitable life. I don’t mean just with money. But productive in becoming a better and stronger human being.

This is something I see a lot. When people are on the mountain top, they celebrate too much.

And when they are in the valleys, they think there is no way out.

It is easy to celebrate when we are succeeding. It is much harder to celebrate future victories when you are in the low valleys.

The key is to treat the imposter’s triumph and disasters both the same! I.E. always focus on working hard and chasing your dreams. Stay realistic about your highs and lows in life.

I truly believe that if you pay attention to all the beautiful small thing around you. Look out for the little victories, and the small everyday things that make up your day. They hold happiness.

Find joy in the tiny things that you do every day.
