Glamping in Colorado is a luxurious and unique way to experience all that the state offers. From the Rocky Mountains to the plains and forests, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Vintage Camper, Boulder
If you want to feel like the king of your castle, look no further than the Vintage Camper in Boulder. They nestle this vintage 1972 Streamline in the foothills between Golden and Boulder. With a private six-acre property that includes lakes and Red Rocks Amphitheater. The camper they have renovated with a full bath (complete with shower), two twins, and a queen-size mattress. On top for those who like to be cozy—it even has original wood paneling from its previous life as an RV.
Glamping Farm Stay with Mount Sopris Views in Carbondale
Carbondale is in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, so if you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, this is the place to go. A splendid choice for glampers who want to experience rural life in the mountains is the Glamping Farm Stay at Mount Sopris Views.
The property has 100 acres of horse ranch land with chickens, pigs, and alpacas roaming around. The property also includes an adobe home built in 1885 that was once used as a livery stable. Where guests can stay if they want more traditional accommodations (but we recommend staying in a safari-style tent).
The view from the campground is gorgeous! You’ll see Mount Sopris peeking over your tent wall when you look out your window. The campsite comprises several tents—ones with bunk beds and those without; some have bathrooms attached while others do not. They decorated some with antique furniture pieces inside them while it simply furnished others with comfortable beds beneath beautiful wool blankets made by local artisans at nearby shops like Colorado Wool & Fiber Company (which will also be featured on our Instagram page soon!). Whatever kind of tent you choose, it’ll be super comfortable! Similar to like some of the best glamping in California.
Vintage Airstream, Moffat
This may look for a classic Airstream. But this quirky Airbnb rental offers spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range and outdoor fire pits and outdoor dining area.
They equipped the vintage Airstream with a full kitchen, shower, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. It’s just 45 minutes south of Great Sand Dunes National Monument. Where you can hike through towering dunes or explore the area’s other natural treasures. Like cacti, prairie dogs, and bird sightings galore! If you’re feeling adventurous (or if it’s June), drive up to Wolf Creek Pass for some skiing on 13 trails with slopes ranging from beginner to expert.
If relaxing inside is more your style (or if it’s July). Then head over to Red Cloud Ranch just east of here. The 40-acre property includes several cabins that are available for rent year-round! The ranch also offers fly-fishing lessons in nearby streams. So don’t forget your rods before heading out on this Colorado getaway trip!

In the land of outdoor adventure, Red Feather Lakes is a place that will make you feel like you’re living on a picture postcard. It’s glamping at its finest, with a tent available for adults only, a decked wood platform, and breathtaking views of 8,300 ft peaks on every side. And if that doesn’t sound spectacular enough to you? This campground has access to miles of scenic trails and even offers kayaking and fishing opportunities!

They offer both tents and cabins for guests to stay in, all with wood-burning stoves and no kitchen or bathroom amenities. The tents have 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds while the cabins have 1 queen bed and 1 full-size futon. This makes it great for families with children who want to encourage them to sleep in their beds.
The grounds are very pretty. With lots of trees and wildlife running around (we saw deer), there’s plenty to keep you entertained while exploring this hidden gem!
Stump Henge Bed & Breakfast in a Wagon, Dolores
This unique bed-and-breakfast is in the small town of Dolores, Colorado. The property is on a working ranch, and guests can stay in one of the four unique “stump henge” wagons. These wagons are based on the ancient Stonehenge monument in England. And each one has been carefully hand-crafted. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the mountains. And valley from their wagon, and there are plenty of activities to keep them busy on the ranch.

Black Tree Resort is in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, which makes it a prime real estate for glamping. This luxury resort has over 24 different yurts to choose from and offers a variety of activities to guests. Black Tree also offers fishing, rafting, hiking, and horseback excursions. Did you know that there’s a new luxury glamping Colorado campground in the Vail Valley called Vail Collective Retreats? And did you know it has over 100 yurts and cabins?

You’ve probably never thought about staying in a treehouse before, and we get it. It’s hard to picture yourself waking up in one when you’re used to having walls around you at night. But Rocky Mountain Treehouse is so much more than just a “treehouse.”
Architect David Frisch designed it with sustainability. And architectural integrity in mind built Airbnb. The 25-foot tall structure is built out of reclaimed wood from nearby structures that no longer exist, including an old theater and an old church. And the house sits 100 feet up in a spruce tree overlooking Carbondale. And the surrounding mountainside—it looks like something straight out of The Lord of the Rings!
Inside, guests enjoy full-size kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher). As well as, a bathroom with a rock shower (yes, actual rocks). And a bedroom loft sleeping area complete with skylight window views… and best of all? You get all this while still feeling connected to nature!
