We live in a world of 9 -5 jobs and endless office hours. Taking a few weeks to visit new countries brings some excitement and adventure into your lives.  Not only does travel broadens our horizons, but it also lets us recharge our batteries when heading back into the daily grind. As Amelia Earhart famously adventure quote says, “Adventure is worthwhile.”
The rapid growth in technology has changed travel over the last few years. Whether you are searching for places to stay, tours to remote destinations, or daring activities to try, nowadays, we have more choice and information that helps us make the best choice possible.   In this post, we will talk about some of the most useful sites or use technology like Travelshift that helps us plan our travels.

Airbnb

Airbnb has exploded in popularity over the last few years. It is one of the top sites I use when booking accommodation.
Airbnb has options from a room in someone’s house to renting a whole apartment. The site is easy to navigate, it is easy to find great accommodation.
My experince with Airbnb has been that they are better quality than hostels and cheaper than hotels. There are also some Airbnb Coupon codes to help you save money.

Skiplagged

This traveling site is known for finding great last minute airfare for cheap.  The site helps you find a destination based on a small budget
Skiplagged is good if you are looking for a last minute weekend getaway. I have seen one-way plane tickets for as cheap as $60.
When I have a lot of time to plan and want to find an insanely cheap flight, I prefer to use sites like Skyscanner, and Kayak ( How to find cheap flights on Kayak )  to buy flights. However, for last minute trips, Skiplagged provides some great cheap options.

Tour with Rome2rio

When looking for trains I use the site Rome2rio. The site has a ton of useful information. They break down the journey and show you the average price to fly or take a train.
They also show you the schedules and let you book the ticket from their site.
Even if you don’t book your ticket on Rome2Rio, but I use the site to compare fares rates and timetables.  Rome2rio is one of the most useful travel websites just because of the sheer amount of information it provides.
For those looking for a few good websites in which to book your travels, `these are a good place to start. They each provide a different service that will help you better plan your trip and travels across this beautiful world.
